A loan of $500 helped purchase thread, wood, and ivory palm nuts for making trinkets.

Willian Enrique's story

Willian is 48 years old and started a business ten years ago selling trinkets. He makes bracelets made of wood and ivory palm nuts. His business has grown over time and he is now known because of his trinkets.

Willian currently works from 8am to 6pm at his vending post where he sells wood and palm nut trinkets with the help of a relative. He also does on-the-spot engraving of names on the wooden pieces. Willian has aspirations for his business because he wants to continue working and making different trinkets.

Willian will use this loan to buy thread, ivory palm nuts, and wood for making different trinkets. His goal within the next few years is to open his own shop since he currently has a vending post on the street.
