Deggo Group's story

The DEGGO solidarity group was created on December 5, 2007. It is composed of 32 women from the same neighborhood. They came together as neighbors and by affinity. The group is part of the Banc Villageois NOB SA JËKËR.

Mrs. NDEYE MADY FANTA D., standing at the far right of the photo and shown inset, is the head of the group. She is 36 years old, married and the mother of four dependent children. She also has a nephew in her care.

She has a small business selling cosmetic products, clothes, palm oil, etc. She started practicing this activity at an early age. Her loan will allow her to strengthen her business and bolster her profits.
