Brigido's story

54-year old Sr. Brigido lives in Corinto in the department of Morazán with his wife María Ángela and their children Bernardo (17), José (15), Julia (13), Elsa (11), Amelia (9) and Marta (7), all of whom he still supports.

Sr. Brigido is a farmer and raises pigs. He is well-known in the community; he is well-respected and works hard. He has been doing this work for 20 years, having inherited the business from his parents who taught him how to farm. Nowadays he supports his family on the income.

He is seeking a loan to buy pigs and to get help with the harvest and storage of his crops (corn and beans). Through this investment Brigido expects to improve his farm and earn more money.

He hopes that through his hard work, he will gradually be able to provide his family with a better standard of living.
