Kisimba Women's Group-Lugazi's story

For the last nine years, 30-year-old Babra S. has made a living running a fishing business in the town of Najja-Lugazi. She opened her business after saving 150,000 shillings while working in farming. Babra is happily married, has three children and makes about 600,000 shillings a month in her current line of work. She is a member of the Kisimba Women's Group-Lugazi and she says she will use her portion of this group loan to improve her business by buying better fishing nets.
