Dionicia's story

Dionicia is a member of the Túpac Amaru Microfinance Group, located in the Yunguyo district of the province by the same name, department of Puno. She is a 36-year-old married mother of one. She was able to complete elementary school.

She has been working with the Movimiento Manuela Ramos for two years. Her first loan was for 300.00 PEN, which she invested in her previous business: livestock farming, specifically pigs and sheep. She currently sells fruits, gelatin, and ice cream bars in the city of Tacna.

With this 3,000.00 PEN loan, she will purchase a freezer for her ice cream and gelatin production. She will use the rest of the money to increase merchandise for her business.

Her dream is to open a store in Tacna. What she most likes about her microfinance group is sharing with her fellow group members.
