Toch's story

Toch T., 62, lives in the Province of Kompong Tom in Cambodia, where she earns her living raising pigs. She has run this business since 1990, and it has provided her with income to attain her standard of living. Toch T., a widow, lives with her two children, one a clothes seller and the other a fresh fish seller.

Recently Toch T.’s daughter sold nearly all of her inventory to her buyers and now wants to replenish her stock but lacks the necessary capital. To assist her daughter, Toch T. is asking for a Kiva loan to help her daughter acquire more clothes to resell.
