Mrs. Tin Im Village Bank Group's story

This village bank loan consists of eight people from Prey Phdau Cheung village, Takeo province. Mrs. Tin I. is a village bank president and has been selected by the other members, who will use their portion of the loan for different purposes so that it can improve their families' standard of living.

Mrs. Tin I. is a weaver who is able to earn some money from selling silk cloth in order to support her family. Though her business is getting on well, she wants to expand. To this purpose, Mrs. Tin I. is requesting a loan to buy more silk for weaving. Her husband, Mr. Touch Chel, is a farmer who owns a very small piece of land where he cultivates rice (not to sell, but to support his family) and he is also a construction worker. This couple supports two children who are too young to work or study.
