A loan of $1,000 helped purchase of embroidering machines.

Julio's story

Julio, who has already received a loan through the organization, was invited to take out a second individual loan because he has shown himself to be responsible and punctual with his payments. He is only 21 years old, but he knows his business very well since it is practically a family inheritance. He lives with his mother and three younger brothers who he supports because his father passed away at a young age. He learned his trade very young because he was forced to become the head of the household and support his mother. Like many young men he has many aspirations. He hopes to build a bigger shop and purchase computerized embroidery machines and hire employees. Currently he does all the embroidery by hand with an electric sewing machine and the work is very meticulous and requires total concentration. He also hopes to earn a degree that will help him lift up this small business that he is building. With the current loan he will buy a embroidery machine that is for sale and thus grow his shop.
