A loan of $500 helped to buy oil, sugar, beans, toilet paper, gas, sweets and drinks.

Marta Alicia's story

Marta is 43 years old and she lives in Berlín, in the Usulután department, with her husband and her two children aged 12 and 15. She started her activity by her own means 12 years ago, and this shop helps her cover for the family’s expenses thanks to the incomes she gains. She does not work fixed hours as the shop is located in her own house.
She is requesting a loan to buy oil, sugar, beans, toilet paper, gas, sweets and drinks. This investment will help her keep the shop running, as her customers ask for these products on a daily basis. The shop is a fortunate location for Marta, as she lives in front of a school, a place with high affluence of children, young people and adults.
As far as the loan is concerned, she aims at extinguishing it opportunely; with respect to her activity, she aims at keeping it well supplied with all the products her customers ask for; as for her family, she aims at working every day so that her children can receive the necessary education that will help them do better in life.
