A loan of $3,175 helped a member buying wheat flour.

Les Vaillants De Romeo 1, 2 & 3 Group's story

Emmanuel is the coordinator for his group "Les Vaillants de Romeo 1, 2 & 3". He is married and has seven children. He lives in the town of Romeo in Haiti where electricity is rare and drinking water is very limited.

Emmanuel has run his bakery for the last eight years. Before beginning this business, he was a farmer. He would like to use this loan to invest in purchasing flour. He hopes the loan will help him to expand his bakery.

Other members of "Les Vaillants" (The Valiant) need a loan for businesses such as selling charcoal, rice, and cattle. Emmanuel says his greatest challenge is lacking regular buyers. He says his chief goal is expanding his bakery. His dream is to buy a truck to transport materials such as flour.

In this group: Emmanuel, St Preux, Maudeline, Ritha, Franel, Analia, Dorvil, Bernard, Joseph, Ouane, Volma, Emilie, Magueritte, Staintmax, Marizane
