San Blás Group's story

The women of the San Blas Committee formed their group on December 19, 2007. With hard work and dedication they are in their 10th loan cycle with this program. In addition to their independent work, they create funds to have a bit of capital within the group, and to help each other reach their objectives they work very hard to financially support their families.

A very moving story is that of Sra. Juana Gonzalaez. She works bringing merchandise to Clorinda. She lives alone and works a lot. She is a woman who has scare resources, but thanks to the credit committee and her partners she believes she is capable of considerably improving her business and its manaagement. She tells us that this loan could help improve her income, and she wants to use it to purchase fruits, vegetables, bread, and vatious types of beverages.
