Nuevo Amanecer Group's story

In the San Blas area of Carapeguá City, some low-income women learned of the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs Program and decided together to receive information on this program. These women are active, hard working and dedicated to embroidery and textiles. They were searching for a little more support to promote their credit, increase their household incomes and improve their quality of life. They need this loan transaction to invest in their jobs and thus ensure sustainable growth that will make them succeed as a group and individually. Mrs. Ramona M. is a well known weaver in her area and wants to buy more fabric, canvas and yarn for increasing her production of textiles, as customers continue to place more orders that sometimes cannot be filled because of the lack of supplies.
