Shuru's Group's story

Shuru S., 57, is the leader of this group. She is a resident of Tokmok, a small town near Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). Together with her husband she has raised six children. All are married and live with their families.

Shuru and her husband are pensioners and in order to earn money to meet their personal needs, they breed cattle. The couple also sells milk for making additional money. With the money received from the loan, Shuru wants to purchase cattle for breeding.
