Lilia's story

Lilia is a member of the “SEÑOR PASION” community bank which is located in Urubamba district, in Urubamba province, in Cusco department. Lilia is 34 years old, married, and has 3 children. She divides her time between her daily activities and her grocery store business where she sells essentials such as rice, sugar, milk, etc. She is a very happy person who has a great desire to get her family ahead in life. Lilia also owns a restaurant business where she serves dinner. She opens the restaurant in the afternoons, leaving a family member to look after the store. In this way, she gets ahead. Lilia is requesting a loan to buy more merchandise for her grocery store and to buy supplies for her restaurant. She is happy to be receiving the loan and pledges to make her repayments on time.
