A loan of $550 helped to buy fishing tackle.

José Del Carmen's story

José is 31 years old, single, and lives with his family in San José district which is noted for the fact that many people there work in the fishing business. It is located 30 minutes from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of Lambayeque region. José has been selling fresh fish from a stall in San José market for a long time. Sometimes he sells his fish down by the seashore. He does this when his demand increases. He uses the income he makes in his business to get his family ahead and cover his daily expenses. José would like to buy fishing tackle so that he can do his job more quickly and, in this way, have more fish to sell. This will make him more profits and enable him to fulfil one of his dreams which is to export his fish. For this reason, he is requesting a loan for 1,500 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. José is a person who is always looking out for his parents' well-being and progress. His greatest wish is to improve their quality of life.
