Daniel's story

Daniel K. is an agent of Compassion International, a Rwandan organization helping children, a vendor of phone accessories and a client of ACD since 2009. He is 37 years old and married. He is born in Congo (RDC). He has four children between two and 11 years of age, three of whom are in school. He has finished five years of secondary school. He is going to use his loan to purchase 60 phones, one computer, one amplifier, one radio, 100 batteries, 200 chargers and 300 cases for his phone accessories store in Gisenyi. His business strategy is to take out loans allowing him to increase his sales volume. He also buys electronic parts. He would like to be able to become financially independent, grow his business and open his own company. As to his private life, he would like to ensure the well-being of his family and provide for his children’s school fees. In order to increase his revenue, he rents out a house for 60,000 Rwandan francs per month.
