Chhiev's Group's story

This village bank loan consists of seventeen members. They are living in Prey Prasat village in Kandal province.

Mrs. Chhiev K., married woman, was born in 1972, and she is a village bank president. She was selected to be the village bank president by the other members. She is a congee (rice porridge) seller in the local village. Since her business is doing well, she wants to expand it. Thus, she would like to ask for a loan to purchase more congee supplies to enlarge her business activities. Her husband, Mr. Phang Sandap, is a construction worker. With their occupations, they are able to earn a small income to support their family living.

This couple is working to support their four children: three are attending a local school and the youngest is 3 years old.
