Mr. Sor Saran Village Bank Group's story

This village bank loan consists of 13 people who are living in Angkor village, Takeo province. Mr. Sor S. is a village bank president who was selected by the other members who will use their portions of the loan for varied ways to support their families.

Mr. Sor S. and his wife, Mrs. Kib Nen, are farmers who own a 1-hectare plot of land where they grow rice to sell to support their family. He is also a motorbike taxi driver and a construction worker. He is a father of three children, two of whom are attending local public school, but the youngest one is 4 years old.

In the rice field, it is time for growing, so he needs some money to support this activity. To improve this purpose, Mr. Sor S. is applying for a loan to do farming this dry season.
