A loan of $625 helped to buy children’s clothes, dresses, smocks, shoes, baby booties, and sneakers.

Yolande's story

This woman is a 46-year-old single mother of a child age 15. She has been selling children’s shoes and clothing since 1993, starting with a capital of 18,500 francs. Her first loan, which was fully refunded, allowed her to save.

This second loan will allow her to increase her stocks by buying children’s clothes and shoes such as sneakers, baby booties, boots, and sandals for boys and girls. Her sales strategy is focused on the quality of her merchandise, and offering trendy items.

She wants to bolster her profits and become an importer in order to open a children's shoe store. In her circle, she is seen as a brave woman for improving her child’s lifestyle and education.
