El Valerio Group's story

The following group is called "El Valerio" and is located in San José del Rincón. The nine group members are neighbors and relations from the village of El Valerio. They decided to give their group this name because they like it having the same name as their village. They tell us that they don't know what the name means but they really like how it sounds. The village of El Valerio is very small. There are very few inhabitants. Most people sell products but some also raise animals and farm. This group has 9 members: 8 women and 1 man. The names of the group's members are as follows: 1.-Concepcion, J. D. J. - 48 years old 2.-Cristina C. R. - 51 years old 3.-Beatriz S. J. - 22 years old 4.-Patricia J. The lady in charge of this group is called Mariela. Mariela is a leader of her community. Many people follow her and support her suggestions regarding the community. Mariela's business is selling clothes on credit. Instalments can be paid weekly or fortnightly, depending on the preference of her customers. The difficult thing about Mariela's business is that she has to walk from house to house offering her clothes for sale and she also has to trust her customers because nobody pays cash. Her goal is to set up a clothes store which wiil be better as it means she won't get so tired. Through her clothes business, Mariela makes enough money to buy food and clothes for her children. Mariela helps her husband with their expenses so that they can get ahead in life. She has 2 children: 1 boy and 1 girl. The children are studying in kindergarten and elementary school. Mariela has been married for 8 years. She lives with her husband in her own home and her husband's business is selling plastic products.
