A loan of $550 helped to buy articles of clothing to sell.

Jaime's story

Jaime, 43, is an unassuming, hard working man living in his own house with his wife, Irma, 42, and their four beloved children for whom he wants to provide a better quality of life.

Throughout his life Jaime has worked at a variety of jobs. He’s currently a bricklayer and highly sought after by his neighbors. His experience has made it possible for him to have continuous work and to be well known by his customers.

He enjoys construction work very much. He knows that this dignified profession can pay for his children’s education. He’s been in this profession for 25 years and considers the most difficult part having to lug the heavy bricks and mix cement by hand which has led to his hands aging quickly. Because of this, his highest priority is to renew his work tools to improve the work he does.

This is his first loan with MFP and he does not want to stop making payments for lack of money so he is making contacts for more construction jobs.

He is the only male in his communal bank so he always strives to be respectful and responsible toward the other members.

He will use the requested 1500 new soles to buy articles of clothing to set up a clothing store that his wife will run.
