Niemeko Group's story

The NIEMEKO solidarity group was created in 2008. It is made up of 10 women who all come from the same district. They are very united and are linked by strong family ties. The group is part of the KOBITENE "Banc Villageois".

Mrs. Suzanne D., standing at the right-hand side of the photo, is the head of the group. She is 28 years old. She is single and the mother of one child. She is also in charge of three other children entrusted in her care by relatives.

She regularly takes out loans from CAURIE-MF, which enable her to increase her palm oil and lemon juice sales.

Her goal is to offer a good school education to her child and to those who are entrusted in her care. She is seeking to offer them a good living environment by trying to meet their daily needs.

In this group: Maimouna, Marie Kissimirie, Anna, Suzanne, Khady, Binta, Marie, Margot, Binta Israel Agny, Elisabeth
