Marion's story

Marion A. is from the village of Brgy. Lamo, Dupax del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya. She is 50 years old. Marion is single. To make a living, Marion raises pigs for breeding. Marion has been engaged in her business for over six years and earns approximately 4,500 Philippines pesos (PHP) a month from it.

In 2011, Marion joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Marion is requesting a new loan of 15,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase livestock feed and other supplies. This will be the first loan taken out by Marion from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand her business.
