Wilson's story

Wilson M. O. is sixty years old and married. His wife stays at home to take care of the household chores and they have eight children between the ages of thirty three years old and seventeen years old.

Wilson sells newspapers to passerby near a stage at Kawangware in Nairobi. He has been in this business for fourteen years now. He says that this business is profitable and the major challenge he has is financial constraints. He works very hard from early morning to late evening to keep his business doing well. He is using his loan of 50,000 KES to buy newspapers to grow his business by serving more people. He hopes that in future, he will diversify his business by opening a general store. He also sees himself buying a plot of land in which he will build a better home for his family. He describes himself as patient and aggressive.
