The Santa María group is made up of five hard working, enterprising women. One of them is Mrs. Corina M., who is 78. For 30 years, she has had her own business which she started by making tortillas. Later, when her son gave her a refrigerator, she began to sell soft drinks, ice cream, ice and curds.

With her loan, she will buy corn, firewood, curd and beans for her business. The other members of the group are Elisa Antonia M. Salazar, who sells nacatamales, used clothing, and does sewing. Judith N. sells disks, Maira V. López sells clothes and food, and Miurel, who is 24 years old, has sold Avon products for three years.

El grupo Santa María lo conforman cinco féminas trabajadoras, esforzadas y emprendedoras una de ella es la señora Corina M. de 78 años quien desde hace 30 años tiene su propio negocio el cual inicio con la realización de tortilla y luego cuando su hijo le regalo una mantenedora empezó a vender gaseosa, helados, hielos y cuajadas.
Ella con el crédito comprara maíz, leña, cuajada y frijoles para su negocio.
Las otras integrantes del grupo son Elisa Antonia M. Salazar quien vende nacatamales, ropa usada y realiza trabajo de costura, Judith N. comercializa discos, Maira V. López vende ropa y comida y Miurel de 24 años vende productos Avon desde hace tres años.
