Erick O. O. is a single man, with no children yet. He owns a bicycle, which he uses to provide transport services. His target market is comprised of fish mongers in the area, ice bar suppliers and other local walk-in customers. His business is located in the heart of Kisumu Municipal Fish Market, where there are many people, and therefore, many customers. Erick has been in business for four years now. His business is profitable, but he has major financial constraints. He works very hard to keep his business doing well. He plans to use his loan of 40,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) to buy a motor bike. He should then be able to do more business for a longer time, since a motor bike is more durable than a bicycle. He sees himself diversifying into other types of businesses and improving his standard of living. He describes himself as tolerant, observant and persuasive.
