A loan of $450 helped to buy chickens and animal feed.

Aida Patricia's story

Aída Z. is a member of the "Mujeres Floreciendo" community bank. She lives in Paccha, a community which is noted for its natural beauty. Its residents work raising livestock and farming crops.

Aida is 24 years old, married, and has one 4 year-old son. Her husband works in the construction industry. He is a builder and, through his work, they have managed to build their own home.

Aida carries out her housework and looks after her son who is still young. However, she also raises animals such as chickens and guinea pigs which she sells in her own community.

Aida is taking her second loan through her community bank which she was encouraged to join by her mother-in-law. She will invest her loan money in buying chickens and chicken feed. Her goal is to grow a lot more in her business.
