A loan of $475 helped a member to buy oranges and clothes.

G.s. Juan Davila Group's story

Gloria Damaris has 4 children aged between 3 and 12 years old. Her husband works in La Concepción. She tells us that her situation has become a little easier since her husband found a job as she used to be the only one who supported their household. Gloria Damaris sells clothes and fruit. With a great deal of determination and effort, she has managed to get ahead in life. Gloria will invest her loan in buying a small harvest of oranges and some clothes.

The other member of this group is Junieth Guadalupe whose business is selling new clothes which she distributes as an itinerant street vendor although she mainly works to order. She has two children aged 10 months and 5 years. Her next step in her business is to become more selective when attracting new customers. These two women have come together to improve their businesses through loans.

In this group: Gloria Damaris, Junieth Guadalupe
