Charles's story

Charles S. is a farmer. He is 29 years old, single and was born in Rwanda. He will use his loan to buy 600 kilograms of potatoes, a pump for insecticide, 300 kilograms of fertilizer and 150 kilograms of détane (insecticide), as well as hire workforce. His strategy for the growth of his business consists in increasing his working capital, using first-class seeds and looking for adequate transportation means. He would like to improve his production capacity and select an appropriate sales spot in his district to sell his products. He wants to provide a good living standard to his family and at the same time save more money. Charles is a representative of Agrofa, a farmers' organization in Rwanda. And he rears cattle.
