She is a mother with one child, who is a year old.

Salima is on her sixth community loan cycle with Turame. She is asking for a Kiva loan for increasing her capital in order to expand her restaurant. She will do so by buying large amounts of provisions and thus increase her saving. Through this loan, with her savings in hand, she hopes to meet the needs of her family over time and to buy a second house.

Salima N. est une commerçante âgée de 22 ans qui habite la commune de Rugombo de la Province de Cibitoke à l’Ouest du Burundi. Elle tient un restaurant dans sa propre maison à Rugombo depuis 4ans alors qu’elle était cultivatrice avant de commencer ce metier. Elle a fait ses études jusqu’au niveau de l’école primaire en 6e année. Elle est mère de 1 enfant d’une annee. Elle arrive au 6e cycle dans le crédit Communautaire avec Turame.

Elle demande le crédit Kiva pour accroitre son capital pour l’expansion de son restaurant en achetant de grandes quantités d’articles de consommation à revendre à ses clients et ainsi pouvoir accroitre ses économies. Elle espère qu’avec les économies réalisées avec ce credit, elle sera à mesure de subvenir aux besoins familiaux et pouvoir acheter une deuxième maison
