A loan of $725 helped to purchase fabrics.

Zadi's story

Zadi is 40 years old and she has 2 children and they live with their father. She is separated and she lives with another person. During the two years with her new relationship, Zadi sold cookies and soft drinks from a canteen in a school near her house. Currently students are on holidays and so she makes polo shirts and active wear in bulk, so that when classes resume she will be able to make her sales. These items of clothing are required to be purchased by students. For now she has used her friend's sewing shop. She will be able to increase her earnings and invest in her canteen. She likes to set new goals so in the future she wants to set up a day care in her mother's house, with the hopes of improving her life. This is her ninth loan through MFP (Kiva Field Partner) and she won't let her payments go unpaid, which is why she is always looking for better earnings. The loan she requests will be used to purchase large quantities of fabrics to make more polo shirts and jackets for when classes start.
