A loan of $625 helped purchase of cartons of chicken thighs, backside, pork, sausages and fish.

Félicité's story

Maman Fely carries out her business in the butcher's/fishmonger's shop on the side of the Plateau market. She is married and mother to three children and she began selling chickens for boiling on a retail basis on a stall in the market ten years ago.

With the previous loan she was able to build up her stock and thus made an income which allowed to repay the loan without any difficulty.

The next loan will again contribute to building up her stock, as she is going to buy two cartons of backside meat, two cartons of tripe, three cartons of chicken thighs, three cartons of chicken for boiling, two cartons of sausage links, one carton of chicken wings, one carton of turkey wings, one carton of ox liver and one carton of pigs' feet.

She will be able to sell all these products and save enough money to achieve her objectives, which are to continue collaborating with HOPE and to help her husband cover the children's schooling costs.
