Marn's story

Marn K., 38, is married and resides with her three children in Kampong Chnang province, Cambodia, an area known for palm products. K. sells groceries, earning an income of USD 7 per day. Her husband grows rice to sell for an income of USD 2 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend USD 63 on food and USD 50 on the other necessary expenses. K. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase more groceries to stock the store. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
