A loan of $850 helped the purchase of clothing, to later sell in the region.

Concepcción's story

Concepción M. Pérez lives in the locality of Llano Grande in the Coapilla municipality of the state of Chiapas, México. She is married to Abelino García Vázquez. They have one five-year old son, Eduardo Manuel, who is her reason for working to get ahead.

She requested this loan to invest in the purchase and sale of clothing, which she later markets in the same region. She comments that she dedicates herself to this business because it generates a good income, and is an activity that allows her to get ahead.

She decided on this type of enterprise because she needed to earn money. Today, thanks to God, things are going well for her.

She uses the income she obtains to invest in more merchandise. She also wants to buy the newer styles of clothing, so that her customers will like what she offers more and therefore she can increase her profits.

Her dream is to, over time, manage to have a house to live in with her family. She also wants to support her son who is growing, and give him a good education so he can become someone in life.
