Hector's story

Hector is 19 years old and he is a very responsible young man. He is the eldest of 3 children who live with their grandmother. This enterprising young man sells clothing, knapsacks and toys. In order to make his business more dynamic he varies the merchandise he sells depending on the season. He rents a stand and it is located in a well-traveled market. This is how Hector has been shaping his business and thank to this he is able to go to school in the mornings. His greatest goal is to go to university and to have a career. In provide for his expenses, in the mornings while he's at school, he has an employee who helps him with the sales. He really enjoys his business but he doesn't want to be left without a career. This is his ninth loan through MFP (Kiva Field Partner) and he knows how helpful this support will be for his business. He will purchase polo shirts and shorts for the summer season.
