A loan of $975 helped to buy more shoes to sell.

Aquiles Francisco's story

Aquiles J. is originally from the town of Jinotega but, in order to improve his standard of living and quality of life, he emigrated to Esteli. He is 37 years old and has a degree in pharmaceutical science. Aquiles is single and has been a salesman for more than 15 years. He is from a very humble family. His father is a mechanic and his mother is a housewife.

Aquiles has previously owned other businesses such as a pig butchering business and a business selling products such as posters and keychains as an itinerant vendor. He started his business with his mom's help.

Over time, Aquiles' business grew and he was able to gather together a little money. Seven years ago he opened his small sales location where he sells American shoes and, with his parents' help, he also serves in a small grocery store.

Aquiles is the pastor of an evangelical church called 'MAHANAIM' (God's Camp). He requested this loan to buy more shoes to sell. His goal is to own his own pharmacy and to work in the field in which he has trained. That is to say, he would like to put his knowledge into practice.
