A loan of $1,000 helped to buy cattle.

Daniel's story

Daniel, age 41, lives in Santa Elena in the Usulután department. He lives with his wife and three children, ages 7, 5, and 1. He is the only one that works. He is a farmer and he raises cattle. He started when he was very young by helping his father with the agricultural work. He does this work now in order to help his family and to feed them. It is the only source of income that they have. Daniel now plans to buy livestock. That is why he is requesting a loan. He does not have enough money to cover the expenses. This investment will help him grow his business by having more cattle on his land. One of his dreams is to become a rancher with a lot of cattle, and he will then become more well-known to the ranchers in the area. For his family, he wants to improve its financial condition and to give his children the best, starting with their education.
