Constance N. is 50 years old and lives in the town of Njeru in the Jinja region of Uganda. She is single and has three children, none of whom are currently in school. Constance has a cosmetics shop business, which she has run for five years. She also has a second business running a clothes boutique.
To help expand her business, Constance has requested a loan of 2,500,000 UGX from Kiva partner, BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase cosmetics and clothes for resale. With the help of her loan from BRAC, Constance hopes to generate greater profits and buy food. In the future, she hopes to expand her business further.
