Or R., 51, raises ducks and lives with his wife in the Battambang province. He has been raising ducks for eggs since 2006 and is able to make about $5 profit each day. He has three children, two of whom are in school and one sells rice, earning about $2.50 in profit each day. Or R.’s wife stays at home looking after the children and cooking food for them.
Or R. would like to take out a loan of $1,000 to purchase more ducks to breed and also to purchase feed for the ducks.
