Amor's story

Amor D. is from the village of Alanib, Lantapan, Bukidnon. She is 31 years old, married and has 3 school-aged children. She owns & operates a sari-sari (variety) retail shop where she sells daily use products such as shampoo, soap, canned goods, snack foods, breads, biscuits & toothpaste. Amor has been engaged in her business for over 2 years and earns approximately 10,500 PHP a month.

In 2009, Amor joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan of 11,000 PHP from HSPFI. This previous loan was used to to purchase additional inventory & provide working capital. She is requesting a new loan of 15,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional products to sell like canned goods & breads. This will be her 4th loan from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated to improve and expand her business.
