Nourn R., 57, is married and lives with her husband and five children in Prey Veng province, Cambodia – one of the largest rice producing regions in Cambodia. R. is a housewife, while two of her children are employed as security guards, earning $3 US each per day to help cover the family's expenses. Each month, the family has to spend $66 US on food and $12 US on other expenses. R. is requesting a loan of $1000 US to purchase groceries to start a new business. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her first from CREDIT, a longstanding Kiva partner.
