Sin L., 24, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Prey Veng province, Cambodia, an area known as one of the largest rice producing regions in Cambodia. L. is a housewife while her husband is a construction worker, earning an income of USD 10 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend USD 66 on food and USD 25 on the other necessary expenses. L. is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase more construction supplements to improve her husband’s business. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her first from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
