A loan of $500 helped to buy fruit and sugar to prepare soft drinks.

Elvin Nahun's story

Elvin, 23, lives in San Francisco Gotera in the Morazán area and sells soft drinks. He is single and lives with his parents. This young man is hardworking and helps his mother with the necessities. He is responsible for his own expenses and financially independent from his parents. He began his business by helping his mother and now sells full-time so he can have a stable income. One inconvenience is that he sometimes runs out of materials to prepare his soft drinks and must ask for a loan to buy bulk materials for those longer-lasting products such as sugar and fruit. This will be a great help for him to enrich his product inventory and increase his soft drink production. His goal is to one day have a business solvent of debt and to be able to improve his and his parents’ economic statuses.
