Seydina Mouhamad Group's story

The Seydina Mouhamad solidarity group was created on December 14, 2008. It is composed of women who are all from the same area, and who came together as neighbors and through ties of kinship. The group is part of the Banc Villageois KEUR SERIGNE BARRA.

Mrs. MBARK. F., standing on the far right of the photo, is the group leader. She is 46 years old, married, and the mother of three children who are still in her care.

Her activity is cattle fattening. She buys frail animals, which she fattens and resells after four to five months. As a sideline, she is also engaged in small trade.

With her loan, she will strengthen her business in order to increase her profits. Her goal is to assist her husband in providing for their family.

In this group: Yacine, Fatou Kine, Mbarka, Amina, Aminata, Khady Ndame, Ndeye S. Boye, Aissatou, Ngaly *, Bintou, Maguette, Ndeye, Soda, Fatou, Ndioba, Anta, Awa, Aby, Die*, Khayta*
