A loan of $500 helped purchase tables and chairs for her business.

Rosa's story

Rosa lives in El Transito with her family: her husband and her daughter who is 26 years old and is currently studying. Rosa is 62 years old and has been selling pupusas for five years. She started this business with savings that she had. She works from 6:00 am until 12:00 pm. The location is a very important part of the reason that her business is so active since the health department is in front of her home. This location is very busy in the mornings which gives Rosa the security to offer her pupusas without fearing a loss of sales.

She is currently asking for a loan to buy chairs and tables and to also buy materials for the kitchen to prepare her pupusas. This loan will help strengthen her business and allow her to better cater to her customers.

Her goals are to expand the pupuseria, increase her customers and improve her family's living conditions.
