A loan of $1,100 helped to stock her store with new products and to buy natural products.

Luisa's story

Luisa, 55, lives with her three daughters in her own house. For the last ten years she has had a grocery store, an activity that has helped her economy and her other jobs: farming and cattle raising.

She works every day taking care of customers. Sometimes her children help her in the store. Every week she stocks up on new merchandise so that the store will always be full of goods. As the years have passed her economic situation has improved thanks to it and she enjoys this commercial activity which complements her other occupations, like farming and raising animals.

In the future she’d like to continue developing in this business reaching the point of having a larger, better stocked store. This is her 14th loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she has financial help and she has always been responsible with her repayments. Besides, she enjoys being part of a communal bank because all the members are responsible, very mutually supportive people.

She thanks those people who will fund the loan she is asking for which will be very useful for her store’s progress.

She plans to use this loan to buy merchandise for her store and part of it for a new business she’s started: the sale of natural remedies.
