Am's Group's story

In Chreae village, Takeo province, twelve people have made up a village bank loan, each planning to use their portion of the loan to improve their family living. Mrs. Am P. is a village bank president who has been selected by the other members. She is a farmer who owns a plot of land where she cultivates rice to sell to support her family. She currently has some problems with growing rice in her rice field. Therefore, to improve production, Mrs. Am P. is applying for a loan to buy rice seed. With the rest of the loan, she plans to buy piglets and chickens to start a new breeding business. Her husband, Mr. Rim U., is a construction worker. The couple support four children, all of whom are attending the local public school and helping with their parents’ businesses.
