San's story

San V., 48, is married and lives with her husband and two children in Siem Reap province, Cambodia – an area known for angkorean temples. San sells groceries. Her husband is a farmer, earning $1 US per day to help cover the family's expenses. Each month, the family has to spend $41 US on food and $50 US on other expenses. V. is requesting a loan of $800 US to fix up her grocery store. In the future, she would like to use additional income to repair her house.
