Las Gaselas Group's story

This group, Las Gaselas (The Gazelles), are located in the State of Morelos and it is distinguished for having an hacienda founded by Hernan C. (the conquistador). The property has been important as a producer of sugar and grains. The group is composed of 10 members and this is the first time they have solicited a loan.

Elva is a member of the group. She sells woolen yarn, a business she started some 3 years ago. Elva requests a loan to buy more products. She is 34 years old, studied in preparatory school, is married, and has a daughter. Her customers are happy because they always find the products they need.

Upon soliciting the loan, Elva feels content because with this loan she will be able to buy more products to make her business grow, and she will obtain greater earnings, enabling her to continue paying for her daughter's studies.
