Touch's story

Touch P., 52, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for palm products. She is a farmer, earning an income of about $1.80 per day. Her husband sells palm products, also earning an income of approximately $1.80 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend $55 on food and $10 on other necessary expenses. P. is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a truck to transport workers from the factory.
